Don't you hate it when you wake up in the middle of the night still half-asleep with this creepy feeling left by a dream you can't quite remember that someone's in your room and you go to turn on the light, you turn the switch and the bulb's burnt out?
Fuck. You feel your way through the dark to another lamp, turn the switch and that one doesn't come on either. Oh now what are the chances of that? Then you think of the wall switch, visualizing how you will flip it and it will instantly fill the whole room with light. But then, it doesn't work. Everything's still dark. Then you finally understand the problem. You think, "I have to wake up."
