Rose Viggiano is a latent grandmother and is matriarch to many more. She runs the Art Education Department at the School of Visual Arts and has been instrumental in a variety of public art projects including the Bronx Museum of the Arts, outdoor mural projects for teenagers throughout New York City and a community garden project in the Highbridge area of the Bronx. She is also an artist and curator.
